the differences is not the mesurement to measure the unity of a country

Pancasila that have the function as a basic ideology that create the order system of law in Indonesia has experienced in facing the challanges. For example is the event of the rebellion of G30S PKI, that they wanted to change the idology of Pancasila become the ideology of Komunism. And this is of course made the people at that time were struggling to protect it.

This ideology of Pancasila itself is to create the differences of culture, ethnic and faith in Indonesia to be unite. That is what we called as Bhineka Tunggal Ika or Unity in Diversity.

Now, what happen is that, because of that differences in Indonesia, the issue occurs which is the differences in it can create a problem which can despite the unity.

In my opinion, how can we measure that the diversity can despite the unity ?!
Because we know that the idea of Pancasila has the value to honor the unity.
Even more it has proven by the event of the rebellion in 1965.
If the differences of the citizen can despite the unity since that time when there was a rebellion, Indonesia will not stand until know.

The other country that also has quite similar system like Indonesia is USA.
This big country has 50 state country. And of course they will have different cultures and politics in every state, but the people in there can unite together until now.

It prove that the diversity in all aspects can not be a measurement to measure unite or not unite the country is.

And I'm as Indonesian, I will feel very happy to have many differences in my country because I can exchange the information of my cultures to the other.
